ALB Soliciting Second Round of Cooperative Funding
(June 1, 2010) The American Lamb Board (ALB) is now soliciting the second round of cooperative funding for two programs. The Industry Matching Grant Program and the Supplier Cooperative Funding Program were designed to leverage funds to further promote American lamb.
The Industry Matching Grant Program has $20,000 available to fund projects and activities that promote American lamb. ALB strongly encourages collaborative partnerships between suppliers, first handlers, retailers, festivals, researchers, foodservice operators, etc. All projects require a dollar-for-dollar cash match. The deadline for submitting applications is June 30.
The Supplier Cooperative Funding Program has $30,000 available for American lamb suppliers to promote American lamb products in the retail and/or foodservice sector. The funds are intended for suppliers to cost share marketing American lamb through retail or foodservice promotions. The deadline for submitting applications is June 30.
The applications can be downloaded at www.lambcheckoff.com, or for more information, contact the ALB office at 866-327-5262.
