| A San Antonio Welcome at the Buckhorn Exchange (March 1, 2007) As home to more than 520 species, 1,200 trophy mounts and 3,300 rare artifacts, the Buckhorn Exchange was the perfect setting for a Texas-style, Industry-Wide Welcome Reception for attendees of the 2007 American Sheep Industry Association/National Lamb Feeders Association Convention. The reception saw nearly 400 producers and industry leaders gather to discuss the industry, catch up with old acquaintances, make new ones and take in the unique atmosphere. The Buckhorn staff also treated reception attendees to an ample spread of different food stations featuring American lamb. Dishes included pan de campo (camp flat bread) with pulled American lamb and gorditas with shredded American lamb. |
